Just a quick update
- My best friend Jackie got married on Saturday, I'm so happy for her!
- I have a job (I started in October), woo hoo!
- I fall more in love with my husband every day
And most importantly, God is good, and is always faithful to me, even when I don't return the favor. The Lord has blessed me beyond compare, and He is greatly to be praised.

| Just a quick update, for those who still read this (if there's anyone out there who still does  )
I married the love of my life, Ben, on July 12th of this year. I'm so happy to be his wife and know that I can spend the rest of my life loving him. We went to NYC for our honeymoon and moved to FL right after.
I hope everything is going great with everyone else!

| I'm getting married in a month! Hooray!  | | |
| This is for anyone who still reads this. I haven't written in quite a while, so I figured it's about time for an update. I visited Ben not this past weekend, but the weekend before that, and we went apartment shopping. It was the last time I was there before moving in July. While I was there, it became apparent that God was leading me to a different direction that I'd originally thought. I was planning on going to grad school, but was convicted that isn't the path God has me on right now. So, I"m now looking for a job down there instead. Which is good, and I"m excited to start the next phase of my life, with Ben by my side. I titled this post "The Waiting Game", becuase that's really what I'm doing right now. I'm just waiting. Waiting for my job up here to end. Waiting for the next time Ben visits. And generally waiting for July 12th. I'm just so anxious to begin my life with my love. I'm just hoping that this anticipation will help me with an eternal perspective. Hoping that I can have a strong longing to join my father in heaven, like I have a strong longing to be joined with Ben. | It's been a while, so I figured I'd provide an update.
I started work this past Monday. I'm working for GM again in YTO (Ypsilanti Transmissions Operation). I'm an IE there, not what I majored in, but it's a good job. I'll be working there until the end of June. Then Ben and I are getting married on July 12th! I'm so excited! I can't wait for us to start our lives together, and to see how God is going to use us.
Speaking of Ben, he's coming to visit this weekend! I know it's only been a month since we've seen each other, but it seems like forever! And being apart stinks. I also can't wait until I don't have to say good-bye to him for a month or more at a time. That's getting old really quick.
Wedding planning is going well. We have a place, caterer, pastor, person to make the cake, and I have my dress, shoes, and picked out the bridesmaids dresses. I also have the stuff for centerpieces for the tables, and tablecloths. It's actually cheaper to buy them from Sam's than it is to rent them, who knew?
